Barista/ Front Counter Staff
Barista duties included creating espresso drinks, taking customer orders using our till system, customer service and general café duties. An outgoing and positive personality, an ability to work in fast paced team environment as well as great customer service skills are a must. We offer a complete training program and flexible scheduling.
Shift hours:
We currently have mainly day shifts available for fall. Evening and weekend shifts are also available and we have both part time and full time positions . Our earliest shift starts at 7:00 am and the last shift ends at 10:30 pm. Most of our shifts are 6 to 8 hours, all with paid breaks.
Pay rate/benefits:
Depending on experience, wages ranges between $9.50 to $12.00 per hour, staff working more then 20 hours per week are eligible for extended medical and dental benefits. Breaks are paid and all café tips are shared equally between all staff. Wendel’s T-shirts are provided. Discount for bookstore.
Dishwasher/Busier
This position entails, washing dishes with commercial dishwasher, putting away clean dishes, running food orders to customers, busing tables, kitchen helper duties and maintaining a clean work environment. This is a position that requires customer interaction and can be quite fast paced.

We currently have day shifts avaiable, mainly, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Most of our shifts are 8 or 6 hours, all with paid breaks.
Pay rate/ benefits:
Depending on experience, wages range between $9.00 to $11.00 per hour, staff working more then 20 per week are eligible for extended medical and dental benefits. Breaks are paid and all café tips are shared equally between all staff.
We are looking for booksellers with a passion for books and people. Retail experience and computer skills are a requirement. Above all must be committed to extreme customer service. This is a position with extensive customer interaction and requires a person with an outgoing and positive attitude. Duties include book sales and recommendations to customers, receiving and stocking books and general bookstore related duties.
Shift hours:
Day shifts, evening and weekend shifts are available, we currently have more evening and weekend shifts available. Our earliest shift starts at 8:00 am and the last shift ends at 10:15 pm. Our shifts are normally 6 to 8 hours, all with paid breaks.
Pay rate/benefits:
Wages are set depending on experience. Staff working more then 20 hours per week are eligible for extended medical and dental benefits. A discount is also offered for both books and café menu items.
